Implementation of Small Adaptation Programs
In the framework of “Climate Forum East II” Country Water Partnership implemented this project. (2016-2017)
The project goal was to raise awareness on community adaptation towards CC, meanwhile fostering sustainable and proportionate development. Project activities have been carried out in 3 key disciplines:
1. The following projects have been implemented in RA Lori marz Margahovit community:
Installation of photovoltaic system on the roof of the community kindergarten, as an alternative source for energy.
Community streets lightening with energy efficient lamps.
2. The following projects have been implemented in RA Lori marz Mets Parni community
Photovoltaic system as an alternative source for energy and installation of energy efficient lamps,
Ensuring community street lights,
Rehabilitation of degraded and erosion plots.
3. The following projects have been implemented in RA Shirak marz Shirak community
Construction of drinking water disinfection (chlorination) system,
Reconstruction of risky and flood section of the drinking water line.
