Regional council meeting GWP CACENA in Yerevan
The concluding annual meeting of the Regional Council of the Global Water Partnership in Central Asia and the Caucasus was held on December 11-12, 2012, in Yerevan, Armenia, which was attended by representatives of the Country Water Partnerships from eight countries.
The parties submitted annual reports on the work carried out in the countries, discussed regional work plan, work schedule and budget for 2013. They also discussed organizational matters, including the question of rotation of members of the regional council and the chairman. It was decided to find more effective ways of cooperation at the regional and interregional levels.
A tour to the Matenadaran (depository of ancient manuscripts), and "Ararat" brandy factory was organized for the guests.
