"Let’s care Armenia" – World Water Day 2016
On March 22, within the social project "Let's caring Armenia" Country Water Partnership Armenia with its partner company "Spring Group" organized a national conference which was dedicated to World Water’s Day. For the 6th year of this project is implemented, in which around one problem common efforts together industry professionals from public and private institutions, social organizations and famous people.
This year conference theme was "Water on the basis of sustainable development". The conference was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, Health, Agriculture, Energy, etc., The Met Office, academic and research institutions, business, non-governmental organizations and the media. The conference raised the priority problems that require immediate solutions - the lack of wastewater treatment plants, low- efficiency of management of water resources, degradation of aquatic ecosystems. To solve these problems, as well as to have a water supply planet, we need an integrated approach and joint efforts to ensure a competent management at all levels.
