Educational seminar for the basic school students
On November 4 this year, with the initiative of the "Country Water Partnership" NGO in the basic school of Parakar community the seminar titled "The water is life " was held for students of 1-4 grades and teachers of the school. The main purpose of the event was to introduce the idea of considering water as a valuable component of our ecosystem and wastewater as a valuable water resource.
Participants of the training were also presented an educational cartoon movie describing the processes of water cycle in nature, the structure of drinking water supply and wastewater systems and the hindering factors of their operation. During the seminar the pupils were also told about the annual Global Handwashing day that is celebrated on October 15. At the end of the seminar about 100 students were gifted towels as a sign that washing hands is really important after going to the restroom.
